This spring, the resort is proud to introduce a collection of new amenities designed to enhance every stay and welcome the greater Houghton community to be part of the experience.

Opening soon, Trailside Kitchen & Market will serve as a vibrant gathering place located in the resort’s signature blue Welcome Center. With an official opening date to be announced, Trailside will offer a thoughtfully curated menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, alongside a convenient selection of grab-and-go items, light grocery essentials, and a carefully designed collection of Keweenaw Waters Resort merchandise and keepsakes. Whether fueling up for a day of adventure or winding down in the evening, Trailside Kitchen & Market is designed to bring both comfort and character to the resort experience.

Adding to the excitement, May will also mark the debut of the resort’s all-new, all-electric Buzzy Boats—a fun and accessible way to explore the scenic Portage Canal. Seating up to 10 passengers, these easy-to-operate boats are perfect for families, friends, and visitors of all experience levels. Equipped with built-in GPS navigation, Buzzy Boats allow guests to confidently chart their own course while taking in the natural beauty of the Keweenaw Peninsula—all for $95 per hour or $170 for 2 hours.

These new offerings arrive just in time for the highly anticipated opening of the Keweenaw Waters Resort RV Park & Campground on May 22, further establishing the resort as a hub for outdoor recreation, relaxation, and community connection.
